Bloomingdale Bucks Pilot 2.0
The Columbus-Amsterdam Business Improvement District (BID) is running its second trial period of the Bloomingdale Bucks rewards program from March 1 to June 1, 2026. The initial pilot ran from July to September 2025, and since then the program has been amended to more closely resemble the rewards structure of a traditional punch card.
In the long run, the BID aims to implement Bloomingdale Bucks as a permanent program. The March 2026 trial period will serve as an opportunity to identify areas of improvement according to feedback from participating businesses. This feedback will determine whether there will be another trial period or if Bloomingdale Bucks is ready for permanent implementation.
