NYC DOT launched a public portal to solicit feedback for the Public E-Bike Charging (PEC) program. This initiative builds on the success of NYC DOT’s six-month e-bike battery-charging pilot, which found that battery-swapping cabinets are safe, widely used, and convenient for delivery workers.
They are currently considering 50 sites across Manhattan and select locations in the Bronx, Brooklyn, and Queens. They plan to narrow this to 25 locations for the final selection. If you would like to consider a location not included, please submit your suggestions through the portal.
